Deer Valley Resort Expansion Update
In December 2023, Park City Council announced its public-private partnership with Deer Valley Resort to the transformation of the Deer Valley Snow Park base area; creating a regional transportation facility and expanding ski-in-ski-out access.
With the transformation of Snow Park, the Deer Valley Resort base area and day-skier parking will be reduced and majority will be relocated to the new village at the base of the expanded terrain off the U.S 40 (pictured above).
The map pictured above is the latest rendition of the terrain map – with the East-West Connection Gondola being the newest addition. This gondola will provide easy access SkyRidge Mountain Community will be to both sides of the resort.
This relocation will put access to the 5,726 acres of skiable terrain at the front door of SkyRidge Mountain Community.
To make access even more seamless for Sky Ridge Owners, the completion of the underpass at the southwest end of the property will provide quick and easy access with the exclusive HOA shuttle service.
SkyRidge Mountain Community will be considered as part of the new base area due to its close proximity. For owners, there will be even more access to a variety of new shops, restaurants, bars, and activities for those that, on occasion, seek the hustle-and-bustle lifestyle.
Yet, SkyRidge sits tucked into the mountainside providing a quaint and serene living experience while not being too isolated from it all.
